Services
Donald F. Sloane, LCSW, and the Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy provides counseling services to a wide range of populations suffering from different emotional difficulties. We provide cognitive behavioral therapy to children, teenagers, adults, and seniors, as well as to individuals, couples, and families. Don has had extensive training in working with people with depression and anxiety disorders, including, phobias, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. Don also treats some eating disorders, specifically bulimia, and some substance abuse disorders. He believes strongly in a combination of providing state-of-the-art methods in a compassionate and empathetic way.

Don also provides training in cognitive behavioral therapy to mental health facilities, hospitals, and other therapists. He was one of the first certified supervisors in the state of Missouri through NASW-MO and is currently scheduled to provide supervision training throughout Missouri for therapists who are in a clinical supervisory role. Our office provides visits via Face Time and Telemedicine (HIPPA compliant) for people that are concerned with the Covid 19 virus.


New Patient Information 

Please call our office to schedule an initial appointment. The office number is 314-576-4900. Please leave a message if no one is available to take your call. Calls are usually returned within 24-48 hours. Office admin are available weekdays from 10 am - 4 pm. Please note that new patient appointments are usually scheduled at least two weeks in advance to allow time in our schedule for our current clients. We try our very best to get everyone scheduled within a timely manner. However, sometimes it is difficult to find an opening on short notice.

All new patient information and registration forms will be sent to you via email after you have scheduled an appointment with our office. Please print and complete these forms prior to your first appointment. New patients should arrive 10 minutes early and should bring all of the completed paperwork with you. If you would rather fill out the forms at the office, please plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Clients who chose to complete the registration forms in the office will need to provide us with your credit card information to reserve the initial appointment.
